Before the marketing of retirement living on the land where I was born, the struggle of survival against the waters that created its flat alluvial topography had long been underway. Now climate changes have joined economic forces to erode this land in new ways, as permanent as they are successful. Solutions arise from accepted awareness. My art seeks that.
